Who Is The Business Ideas Guy?

The Business Ideas Guy is John Crickett, I'm a serial entrepreneur who has started and run several businesses, including a web design consultancy, a software development consultancy, a range of Internet businesses and a business magazine.

I've gained a lot from the experience of running my businesses and I'm keen to share what I've learned with other small businesses to help them succeed.

I've been a guest speaker on the Entrepreneurship course run by Bath University and presented a talk titled "Go It Alone: Setting up a business, finding clients and winning work" at the ACCU conference. I've also spoken at several local Chamber of Commerce events.

I write a blog about business opportunities, ideas and entrepreneurship on which I share my experience and expertise. Please feel free to have a read and see if I have what you are looking for, you never know the answer might even be on the blog.

Why Are You Called The Business Ideas Guy?

No matter where I am or what I'm doing I continually spot ideas for new business or opportunities to improve exisiting ones. In March 2007 I started blogging these ideas, creating a blog called Business Opportunities and Ideas. From that people started referring to me as the "Business Ideas Guy".
